“An Electric Dart Board – Can it Be Turned into a Golf Course?”
Share with Friends

An electric dart board can transform into a world class professional golf course. This happens with just the press of a button! You can play a 9-hole round of golf with all par 3 holes. This setup makes a total par of 27. Alternatively, play an 18-hole round with 3 holes making par 54. Now, let’s take a deeper dive before any of us get stuck in the rough.
How to play golf on a dartboard?
Well, it’s really simple. Numbers 1-18 are the “holes” in the golf course. The holes must be scored in order, just like an actual golf course. Players take turns throwing 3 darts at a hole until one player scores 3 times in the hole. Then the opponent will throw at the hole until they have scored on the hole 3 times. A player must score three hits in a hole to move on to the next hole.
A double count is scored if you hit the double ring segment of the electric dart board. A triple count is achieved when you hit the triple ring segment. This lets you finish a hole with fewer throws (strokes). In golf vernacular, hitting a triple with your first throw on a hole scores an “eagle.”
Be careful. Just like in real golf, each throw will count as a stroke. This applies whether you hit a designated number or not.
All of your throws will be automatically tallied and displayed on the dart scoreboard. The Viper ION Illuminated dartboard is the perfect board to play a round of dart golf. Playing on the PGA tour is on your bucket list. If you haven't been, try playing golf on an electric dartboard. It will make it happen. It’s tee time!
