“Dart Games – Around the Clock.”
Share with Friends
Dart games have a lot of folklore attached to them. “Around the Clock” is no exception. Some people suggest this dart game was inspired by similar games of other sports such as “Around the World” in basketball, where players must make shots from specific locations around the basket.
Others found similarities from the sport of Golf with “Around the World Putting Drill” where golf balls are arranged around the hole at various distances to practice putting skills.
Whatever the real story is, the dart game “Around the Clock” is renowned for helping dart players of all skill levels to master their aim, throw and accuracy.
The Dart Game – Around the Clock | Objective
The object of the game is for each player to hit all the numbers on the dartboard from one to twenty. The hits must be sequential. The player that hits all the numbers first, wins the game!
To determine who goes first, each player makes a throw and the one who hits closest to the bullseye goes first.
There is no limit to the number of players. You can even play solo to really master your accuracy and build the muscle memory possessed by the professionals. Practice makes perfect, it’s the idea behind the game!
There are no double, triple and bullseye points in this dart game. Once a player hits anywhere in the “number wedge” they can advance to the next number.
